
Jewel Parrish
Executive Director, Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming
Jewel Parrish serves as the Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Centers of Wyoming, providing statewide leadership, coordination, and support to Wyoming’s network of Child Advocacy Centers. In this role, she partners closely with multidisciplinary teams, law enforcement, and child protection professionals to ensure children and families affected by abuse receive trauma-informed, collaborative, and effective care.
Prior to her current role, Jewel served as Program Director and Victim Specialist with the Northeast Montana Child Advocacy and Victim Services Center under the Glasgow Police Department, leading forensic interviewing efforts, managing complex caseloads, and coordinating victim support across multiple judicial districts. She also advanced community education and prevention efforts as an Advocate, Prevention Specialist, and Volunteer Coordinator.
Earlier in her career, Jewel served as a Family Readiness Officer for the United States Marine Corps, supporting US Marine and Navy families by designing and implementing programs to help them navigate transitions, access resources, and strengthen resilience during deployments and relocations.
A nationally certified Child Forensic Interviewer, Jewel has completed extensive training through the National Criminal Justice Training Center, the Children’s Alliance of Montana, and the National Children’s Alliance. Her expertise includes trauma-informed interviewing, team facilitation, domestic violence response, human trafficking awareness, and child safety education.
Jewel’s leadership and dedication have been recognized with several honors, including the Coleen Magera Children’s Champion Award from the Children’s Alliance of Montana (2023) and a Certificate of Commendation from Combat Logistics Battalion 15, U.S. Marine Corps for her outstanding service and advocacy. She also contributes to state and national initiatives.
Grounded in collaboration, education, and empowerment, Jewel ensures that Wyoming’s Child Advocacy Centers provide consistent, compassionate, and high-quality services to children and families across the state.
Beyond her professional life, Jewel is a devoted wife and mother of five, surrounded by a lively pack of beloved fur babies. She finds balance and joy in spending time outdoors, where she enjoys the beauty and peace of Wyoming’s open spaces.
