WYOMING CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER STATISTICS 

  • 474 children served
  • 474 forensic interviews
  • 61 medical exam/treatments
  • 124 served with counseling therapy
  • 332 referrals to counseling therapy
  • 192 of children were ages 0-6
  • 174 of children were ages 7-12
  • 106 of children were ages 13-18
  • 306 cases of sexual abuse
  • 112 cases of physical abuse
  • 16 cases of neglect

Among the alleged offenders investigated for instances of child abuse in Wyoming in 2017:

  • 138 were a parent of the victim
  • 45 were a steparent of the victim
  • 79 were other relatives of the victim
  • 94 were the parent's boyfriend/girlfriend
  • 73 were an unrelated person the victim knew
